Pertussis Vaccination Campaign - Extended through June 30th
-Get Your Shots-

Mai Vang, Medical Assistant & Jamie Lyn Reinschmidt, M.D.,
from North Suburban Family Physicians - Roseville support the
Pertussis Vaccination Campaign.

Minnesota is combating a high rate of pertussis.  Join the Pertussis Vaccination Campaign to immunize family physicians and healthcare staff, and limit exposure and the potential to spread whooping cough to patients.

Family physicians are asked to be role models at their clinics and encourage healthcare staff with direct patient contact to get immunized against pertussis.   Clinics are invited to host a Pertussis Vaccination Day to ensure that eligible family physicians and healthcare professionals get immunized.

Clinics that achieve 100% pertussis immunization rates among eligible family physicians receive a certificate of appreciation and will be entered in a random drawing to win one of five $100 gift cards.   The Campaign runs through June 30, 2011.

Family physicians and clinic managers will soon receive a Campaign Kit in the mail.  To get started today download the resources found in the Campaign Kit section.

Help the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians Foundation in its campaign to protect patients, family physicians and healthcare workers against pertussis.  For assistance please contact Lynn Balfour at 952-224-3873 or foundation@mafp.org.
