Are You Willing To Be A MAFP Media Contact?

The MAFP is putting together a state-wide list of family physicians who are willing to be interviewed by members of the media on any number of topics related to family medicine.

Throughout the year, the Academy gets calls from reporters looking for family physicians to discuss a variety of health-related issues. Since the MAFP is an obvious source for reporters to come to when they need credible opinions from family doctors, we would like to be able to provide the media with willing participants. Questions about how the MAFP stands on a particular issue will still be forwarded to the Academy president and/or other officers.

If you are interested in becoming a MAFP media contact, please print and mail a completed media contact form to the MAFP office at 600 S. Highway 169, Suite 1680, St. Louis Park, MN 55426.

*When a member of the media does call, contact information is usually needed in a short period of time. If you agree to be a media contact, please provide us with phone numbers where you can be contacted quickly or where a message can be left that you will get within a few hours.
