Joining the MAFP and AAFP

The MAFP is the state chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the largest medical specialty society in the United States. The organizational structure is based on twelve local chapters throughout Minnesota, each with its own officers.

When a person joins the Academy, they automatically become a member at three levels: national (AAFP), state (MAFP), and the local chapter depending on geographic location.
