2010 Minnesota Family Physician of the Year Finalists

The award is presented annually to a family physician who represents the highest ideals of the specialty of family medicine, including caring, comprehensive medical service, community involvement and service as a role model.  Nominations came from patients, as well as colleagues and administrators.

The 2010 Family Physician of the Year finalists are:

2. Dr. Timothy Halloran
   Le Sueur Medical Clinic (Southern Metro Medical Clinics)
3. Dr. Richard Wehseler
   Affiliated Community Medical Centers - New London/Spicer
4. Dr. Theresa Wollan
   Family Health Services Minnesota, Vadnais Clinic, Vadnais Heights

Note:  Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate their family doctor.  The MAFP Board of Directors will now select a winner.  The name of the 2010 Family Physician of the Year will be made public during an awards ceremony on April 15, 2010.  If your physician was not named a finalist or is not selected as the recipient of the award, please feel free to nominate him or her again next year.  Nominations will be accepted for the 2011 award beginning in October 2010.
