The Corporate
Advisory Council is a great way for businesses and organizations to
show their support of the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians
Foundation. This partnership will create a range of
opportunities for cooperation and sharing of resources to enhance
the specialty of family practice in Minnesota and advance patient
care.

Mission and Goals
The mission of
the Corporate Advisory Council is to advise the MAFP Foundation’s
Board of Directors on issues related to health care. Members meet
quarterly.
- Exchange of information and ideas
- Share unique perspectives
- Collaborate on special projects
- Identify issues of mutual concern
- Determine how the group can work together to address those concerns.
The Board of
Directors reviews and approves all CAC membership applications. The
MAFP Foundation reserves the right to deny or terminate the
relationship. The MAFP Foundation does not endorse the products or
services of members but does provide the opportunity to enhance
visibility in the family physician community.
- Visibility in front of 3,100 family physicians, residents, and medical students
- First opportunity to partner with the MAFP Foundation on new programs that address family medicine issues
- Access to and interaction with Academy members and Foundation leaders
- Visibility at the MAFP Spring Conference annual meeting
- Complimentary subscription to Minnesota Family Physician
- Exchange ideas and timely information with MAFP Foundation leaders and other companies
- Identify issues of mutual interest
- Corporate listing on the MAFP Foundation website and in the MAFP newsletter
- Corporate representatives serve on the MAFP Foundation's Board of Directors
