Prescription Drug Patient Assistance Resources

The Foundation and the Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) continue to look for ways to help patients afford the drugs they need to improve or maintain their state of health. Please have your office or clinic call the MN Dept. of Human Services for materials on Prescription Drug Programs -- available at no cost--1-800-657-5683.

Currently, the MAFP Foundation, the Minnesota Medical Association, the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the Minnesota Board on Aging, and the Minnesota Medical Managers Group are collaborating to target seniors, caregivers, clinic managers, and other medical health professionals in a selected area to educate them on the availability and use of the prescription drug assistance programs available.  This includes the new Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage.
