(St. Louis Park)—The Minnesota
Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) installed Terence Cahill,
M.D., as President of the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians
on April 15, 2010, during its 64th Annual Meeting.
Dr. Cahill is a family physician with United
Clinics of Faribault County. As president, he will serve as the
official representative and spokesperson for the MAFP, be a
member of the Board of Directors and will chair the Executive
Committee of the Board of Directors, in addition to promoting
the ideals and concepts of family medicine.
The Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians is a professional
association of approximately 3,000 family physicians, family
medicine residents and medical students organized to assist family
physicians in providing quality medical care in Minnesota. The MAFP
is the largest medical specialty organization in Minnesota and is a
state chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the
largest medical specialty organization in the United States with
more than 94,000 members.
