Teacher of the Year Award
This award is given to an outstanding teacher of family medicine.
Full-time, part-time and volunteer physicians from academic and clinical
settings are eligible. Nominations should describe the candidate’s special
teaching qualities and his or her impact on students and/or residents.
Nominations for this award come from residents, medical students,
fellow teachers or other MAFP members. All nominations must be made in
writing. Please explain why the nominee is deserving. Also, if
available, please forward a copy of the nominee’s CV. Nominees must
be MAFP members, although involvement in the MAFP is not a pre-requisite.
Nominations for the 2009 award accepted beginning
October 1, 2008.

All nominations are carefully considered by the MAFP Board of Directors.
Board members will select the winner.
The Teacher of the Year Award will be presented during the MAFP
Annual Meeting/Spring Refresher in April 2009.
