Resident of the Year Award
This award recognizes one third-year resident for contributions
to family medicine in his or her community, including teaching,
leadership and educational activities.
Nominations for this award come from fellow residents, medical
students, teachers, residency program directors or other MAFP members.
All nominations must be made in writing. Please explain why the nominee
is deserving. Also, if available, please forward a copy of the nominee’s
CV. Nominees must be MAFP members, although involvement in the MAFP is
not a pre-requisite.
Nominations for the 2009 award accepted beginning
October 1, 2008.

All nominations are carefully considered by the MAFP Board of
Directors. Board members will select the winner.
The Resident of the Year Award will be presented during the MAFP
Annual Meeting/Spring Refresher in April 2009.
