Creating Great Future Physicians Through Preceptor Feedback in the Medical Office

Session Objective: Attendees will be able to describe the accrediting body regulations regarding student feedback.  Attendees will be able to describe the characteristics of feedback that medical students find useful.  Attendees will be able to construct an effective behavioral based assessment to enhance medical student performance.  Attendees will describe challenges involved in giving frequent feedback and discuss how to incorporate into a busy outpatient medical practice.

 

SAM Study Group: Care of the Vulnerable Elderly

The MAFP is pleased to offer a SAM Study Group session on Care of the Vulnerable Elderly to help participants with the ABFM Maintenance of Certification (MC-FP) requirements.  To cover the administrative costs, the MAFP will charge a fee of $100 to register for the SAM Study Group in addition to the registration fee for the Spring Refresher.  Important Note:  Fees paid to the MAFP do not include the ABFM Maintenance of Certification (MC-FP) fees.  For more information about re-certification, contact the American Board of Family Medicine at www.theabfm.org or call 888-995-5700.  * Requires separate registration.  You can register for the SAM only or add it to your Spring Refresher registration.
