Gather for the 2012 Research Forum on Saturday, March 31st at HealthPartners in Bloomington.  This is the place to hear practicing and academic family physicians, researchers, residents, and medical students present their work in Family Medicine Research.

or print the brochure (PDF) and mail the form to the Academy office along with payment. 
 

Medical Students and Residents Registration
Send an email to lregehr@mafp.org letting us know you plan to attend OR print the brochure and fax registration form to 952-542-0135 (no cover sheet needed). 
Registration is FREE for medical students and residents.
 

Developing a Bottom-Up Research Project - Opening Presentation
Lyndee Knox, Ph.D., will speak on Developing a Bottom-up Research Project.  She is the founding director of LA Net, a primary care practice based research and resource network in LA County.  Dr. Knox is a member of the Federation of Practice-Based Research Networks Steering Committee and serves as a director of the National Health Foundation.  Current projects include evaluation of practice facilitation intervention to implement the Chronic Care Model in Federally Qualified Health Centers in LA, implementation of Project ECHO, a virtual grand rounds designed to develop expertise of PCPs for managing complex conditions in the PC environment; a study of practice facilitation and local learning collaboratives for implementing CKD guidelines in practice; and an evaluation of a peer mentoring program for diabetes self-management support.
